Advanced Connectors

There are two main types of connectors: coordinating connectors and subordinating connectors.

Coordinating connectors

Subordinating connectors

Consequently: This connector can be used to show the result of something.
Therefore: This connector is similar to “consequently,” but it can be used to express a stronger connection between cause and effect.
Thus: This connector can be used to show the conclusion of an argument.
In fact: This connector can be used to emphasize a point.
As a matter of fact: This connector is similar to “in fact,” but it can be used to add more emphasis.
Actually: This connector can be used to correct or add information to a previous statement.
